By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be 13 or older to use Fetch. By uploading a photo of yourself you confirm you are 13 or older.

Your photos. Photos of you are used to generate your digital avatar. Photos of your clothes are used to generate your wardrobe items. The photos you upload stay private. The avatar and wardrobe images made from them appear in the app: to you, to your friends, and — if your apartment is set to visible, which is the default — to other Fetch users who visit it. You can change that in Settings at any time. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Your doll's face. Your doll's face can come from a photo of you, or from a photo of a public figure if you'd rather wear a fan look. Never use a photo of another private person, and never use a doll to pass yourself off as someone else. We may remove a doll that breaks this.

Your content. You keep the rights you have in the photos you upload, and you own the words you write in Fetch. By uploading to Fetch you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process and display that content in order to run Fetch, and to generate avatars, wardrobe items and other images from it. We do not sell your content or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

What Fetch makes. Your doll, your wardrobe items, your closet cards and the outfit images built from them are rendered by Fetch, and we hold the copyright in them. Yours are yours to use, free and for as long as you have an account: wear them in Fetch, share them with friends, post them wherever you like. You are not, however, allowed to sell them, put them in a product or an advertisement of your own, or use them to train or build another service. A render of a wardrobe item shows the item, not you — so where another user owns the same item, Fetch may give their closet the same item render rather than drawing it again. Your doll and anything showing your likeness are never shared that way. If you delete your account, your photos and the renders made from them go with it, and we stop putting your renders into anything new; an item render that also serves another user's identical item stays with their item, since it carries nothing of yours. Material we had already made or published before you left — a social post, an advertisement, a screenshot in an app store — can still run: published work cannot be recalled, and finished work cannot be taken apart and rebuilt.

AI. Fetch is built on AI. Your doll, its hair, your wardrobe items and the other pictures in the app are drawn by AI image models from the photos you upload, and AI also names and sorts your uploads, checks every photo before it is stored, suggests outfits and gives Rate It verdicts. All of that comes from AI models, not from a person, and it can get things wrong. Renders are often a likeness of your item rather than an exact copy.

Acceptable use. You may not use Fetch to upload content that is illegal, harmful, or that violates the rights of others. Misuse of the product is not allowed. This includes deleting and re-uploading the same wardrobe item to obtain extra renders or bypass limits; uploading non-clothing objects to the wardrobe renderer (clothing, shoes and wearable accessories belong there); submitting spam or automated bulk uploads; and trying to bypass upload limits, review holds or safety checks. If a render is wrong, use the re-render button or send feedback so we can help. Deleting items you no longer want is allowed. If we mistakenly flag different items as duplicates, please tell us through Feedback. We may limit uploads, remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Donations. Fetch can take a one-off donation through Stripe, a payment provider that handles the card details; Fetch never sees them. Donating is for confirmed adults (a birthday on file, 18 or over). A donation is a gift to the people building Fetch: it is not tax-deductible, it buys nothing, and it is not refunded except where the law requires it. Donors get a heart beside their username, as thanks, and can turn it off.

The service. Fetch is provided as-is during beta. We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. We will do our best to let you know in advance when possible.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, Fetch is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes. We may update these terms. Continued use of Fetch after changes means you accept the new terms.
